Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013 is a day we won’t soon forget.  It’s special, because on that day, we were contacted by a reporter from the Calgary Sun, asking us for an interview!  After all was said and done, we are extremely excited and very pleased to finally reveal to our readers and followers the reason for our secrecy over the past few days:  We’re in the news!

The reporter, Michael Platt, wrote an awesome article on us, drawing from investigation reports written here, as well as responses from our interview.  Thank you, Michael, for taking the time to talk about the important aspects of our work – and most especially, for making it clear in your write-up that we are a non-profit group whose expenses are entirely out of pocket.  It is, indeed, an “odd business model”, as you put it, but we’re not doing this for money; we’re doing it for people who genuinely need our help.  Nothing is more satisfying than being able to help people who are experiencing unexplained events.

We have worked very hard over the past almost-five years to get to this point with this team.  It seems only yesterday the name was being chosen…

And on that note, we want to extend a very warm welcome to our newest team member, Michele Goodsell.  She brings a unique blend of skills to the team which we’re sure will prove to be valuable assets, and we’re looking forward to working with her.  Welcome aboard, Michele!  We’ll be getting together with you to start your training very soon!

Thank you to everyone who has supported us by subscribing to and following us over these past almost-five years.  Your insights, suggestions, and encouragement is greatly appreciated, and we look forward to bringing you more of our work in the coming weeks.  Have a great rest of the weekend!
